The red plume soared over our heads!
Northern lights, as they’re also known, are caused by magnetic storms that have been triggered by solar activity. I’m not sure I understand it, either—I just know it was exhilarating! 🐴

- Wow, it was 70 at 8AM. It's raining off and on, so as you can see we were sent out without our fly masks (although we did get a good soak with some nice citronella-scented spray). We hope the flies keep their distance, because we always enjoy going out without the masks: It makes it easier for us to give each other dirty looks!
