Good morning! Let’s go back to last night for some news: First, as it gets darker, earlier, the young chickens were starting to roost by 6:30, instead of 7:00 or later:
We don’t know who, but one of them has started laying eggs, one last night, and one the night before. A hens’ first eggs are smaller than normal:
And look what I noticed when I went to take a drink. Can you make it out?—in the lower left corner?
It’s a baby goldfish!
Congratulations Mom and Dad (pictured here when the algae was less dense). You’ve been in our tank for almost 10 years!
For all this time, we had no idea that you two were opposite sex. Which is which? Who the heck knows! 🐴
