When your horses are happy⎯you’re happy! 🐴

Even though the sky is cloudy, we’re feeling pretty good⎯it’s almost 40!And they predict the same for tomorrow!(Although it would be nice to dump a foot of snow on the Cat Cop Caucuses 🐴)

Gretel is no longer a chick 🐓

Gretel has started laying eggs. She lays them in her nesting box in the garage.Bullseye! 🐴

Chicken crime! 🐓

“Hey look⎯she left the keys in it!"

Piccadilly Circus! 🐴

Here I am at fabulous Piccadilly Circus at night!

Here are some more English ducks 🐴

I liked watching the ducks dive in St James Park.  I wish it was warm enough in Geneseo for ducks to swim.

Morning rounds 😺

Luigi and Zelda are done checking for mice in the stable.  This morning it was sunny and 37℉!  We caught nothing but we had great weather for doing it! 😺

For all you armchair ornithologists, I present the buzzards of St. James Park. 🐴

The early cat gets the heating pad 😺

Kanna stakes out her place for tonight. 😺

Nice ride 🐎

Here we are, watching Mary and Mara bring Stormy and Iris in from a long ride through the fields.

Here we are at Greenwich 🐴

Here are my Stonehenge pictures. 🐴

I’m back! 🐴

I had a wonderful time.  But I’m sad to leave green grass and 40 degree weather for the -2 it was this Sunday morning in Geneseo.  I’m still busy unpacking, so I don’t have any pics to post yet.  But!⎯Here are the Queen’s horses on their way to the changing of the guard.  We saw them outside the emerald-green grass of Hyde Park.

I’m going on vacation. I’ll be back Sunday the 17th. 🐴

It’s 40, so all the snow and ice is melting⎯so once again, we’re having mud for breakfast. On a day like this, the cat-cops put the horses' hay in the bins, so it will stay dry. And, of course, the horses promptly throw it out on the mud.But this morning, I don’t care!  Why?  I’m spending next week in England!  I’ll be back next Sunday, Jan 17, when I’ll share with you my travel photos!

Iris and Stormy literally go on a field trip. 🐎

Chicken Horror Stories 🐓

Mr. Peepers challenges the dreadful headless Lakenvelder!Mr. Peepers rethinks his decision:(No one took a lickin’, ‘cause everybody’s chicken.)

Poultry on the roof 🐔

Whoever said chickens cannot fly has not spoken to our chickens. Here’s Gretel on top of the old chicken coop. We guarantee you, she did not use a ladder. And when she gets lonely, Hansel flies up to keep her company.

Happy Birthday Mary! 🐎

Puppy visits the farm again.

Henry has a New Year’s message. 🐎

“Happy New Year to Mrs. Minas and her class!  I hope you had a great vacation!””Here I am eating my breakfast hay.  I just found out that the chickens will eat hay, too, in the winter when there is no grass.””Here is a closer picture of them.””Have a good time in school!  For now, I’m going back to eating my breakfast!” 🐎

Scary New Year 🐎

Friday night, our Misty walked into her stall for dinner, then lay down and started to shake.  The poor girl was having a seizure! Fortunately Mary and Mara were there. They kept her covered in blankets and gave her some medicine to help her relax.  The vet made an emergency call and gave her another tranquilizer, and soon she was standing and finishing her food. Thankfully, this morning she was still ok. Here she is, outside and finishing breakfast with the rest of us.  🐴

Let’s hope 2016 is better than the party 🐴

“Our party was a bust.””The only one who enjoyed himself was Luigi, and all he did was eat.””Let someone else have a crack at that can, Luigi!””I’m glad we didn’t go. . . ."
