We’re getting buzzed 🐴
It started out nice and quiet, although nasty hot and humid, this morning—
but it didn’t stay that way:
Poor Kanna 😿
Kanna has a sick or hurt eye, so her inner eyelid is covering it. If she doesn’t get better, we’ll take her to the vet.
For those of you without aquariums or houseplants 🐴
L’Orange, Paschal and Pooter interpret Swan Lake:
Poor Chezzie got a cut over his eye awhile ago at a show. 🐎
He still has his stitches:
We keep medicine on it, and he gets a fly-mask too, that helps protect the wound.
Her hen-heart just wasn’t in it 🐓
The egg on the right is a regular bantam egg. The egg on the left, found a few weeks ago, laid by the same chicken, is no bigger than a robin’s egg:

Evil update 😿
Evil Cat has been missing for a few days, but finally showed up for breakfast this morning:
The last time we saw him he could not use his front left leg, but now it’s better. You’ll notice he has a lot of hair missing on his face. He really needs to stay out of fights.
It’s hot. 🐴
To make it worse, it’s also ferrier day:
Judging from the hooves behind the ceiling fan, I’m getting worked on, which means we're almost done. You can see Bill checking his phone. He’s near the floor fans we use to help keep Travis and his customers cooler.
Today was a rainy, pouring mess. 😿
About the best weather we had all week was Tuesday: it was dry, but even then it was cold enough to make Luigi hood-jack the Camry. 😺
Stormy does a good deed 🐎
Stormy gives Ukie’s leash a tug—just in time to avoid a “stampeding” Charlie:

But now, Luigi has empty-nest depression.
And so does Pumpkin. 😿
