Who’s that lurkin’?  That’s our Turken! 🐔

It was only 47℉ this morning!  It seems to have made Chavez, Stormy, and me a little drowsy:But I’m up now, and have a smile just for you!Ferdinand has had his bath and now it’s Paschal’s turn:Finally, is this a chicken or a turkey? Turken says, “Of course, I’m a chicken!”People call my breed a turken (or turkin) because I don’t have feathers on my neck or head, like a turkey—but I’m very much a chicken! 🐓

Did you know that I’m quite a common breed in Europe?  I’m also known as a “Transylvanian Naked Neck.”  But here at the farm, I’m happy to be just called Turken. 🐔
