Everybody loves “baby” pictures! 🐥

Good morning!  We’re all having to be patient about breakfast recently:Onslow and Betty know what we mean:We understand.  Ann has to check on the new chicks first, to make sure they’re ok. 🐥

Here’s mother Gail, minding her chicks as they get a good breakfast:

Last night, Opal and her two babies were moved from the little plastic coop in the cat garage to the smaller of the two main chicken coops.  Her family and Gail’s have it all to themselves.  All the other birds are in the bigger coop, until the babies get big enough to join the flock.

For the first night we had Opal in a pen:

But this morning she decided to move her babies to a nesting box:

Everybody’s happy, safe, and growing every day! 🐥
