Today, Saturday, is Iris’s birthday. She is 8 years old! We began the celebration yesterday by letting her graze all by herself on the thick, sweet grass in the riding circle. 🐎
Today, Mara will give her the full spa treatment, of bath, with mane and tail shampoo, and hoof polish! 🐎

- Wow, it was 70 at 8AM. It's raining off and on, so as you can see we were sent out without our fly masks (although we did get a good soak with some nice citronella-scented spray). We hope the flies keep their distance, because we always enjoy going out without the masks: It makes it easier for us to give each other dirty looks!
